Steve Roberts
Head Professional

Fully Qualified PGA Professional

I started golfing at Beauchief Golf Course where I joined the Club as a junior member, throughout my time at Beauchief I represented the scratch team on many occasions.

Following the start of my golfing career I went on to do a BA HONS Degree in Golf and Leisure Management at Lancashire University. I then completed the PGA training programme which gave me the skills I needed to further my career in golf . After gaining these qualifications I became the assistant professional at Beauchief Golf Course, after an enjoyable few years I moved to be a teaching professional at Dore & Totley Golf Club in June 2013, in June 2014 I took over as the Head Professional.

Martin Robinson
Retail Manager

I have 35 years of retail experience developing and maintaining high standards of service to all.

My golfing career started at Abbeydale 45 years ago where I represented the club as a junior and 1st team player before moving to Dore and Totley where I also represented the scratch team.

Gabriel Gisborne
Assistant PGA Professional

After finding a love for golf at the age of 16 years old, with no tuition I reached a plus figure handicap and represented the 1st team at Hallowes Golf Club on numerous occasions. I soon began working for Pete Cowen at The Pete Cowen Golf  Academy, developing myself as both a player and coach.  In November 2022 I joined the team at Dore and Totley Golf Club and by November 2023 I turned professional.  My passion is within playing and coaching.
